Through the Eyes of George T. Gamblin

It's amazing how a person's photographs allow you to see the world - quite vividly - through their eyes. All of the below photographs were taken by my father, George T. Gamblin. Those who knew him well knew that he was inspired by the little things, and that he was deeply moved by the majesty and grandeur of the world around him. I always loved his photos, but I never realized how well he captured the quiet beauty of nature until his passing.

A few years before his death, my father posted the photo below (taken by my mother) on social media and quipped with the caption:


"Barb spotted this old codger pretending to be a photographer." 

Turns out he wasn't pretending at all.
